About
Experience
Specialised academic and clinical training underpins my practice, together with ongoing professional development, supervision and extensive work experience.
I have many years experience working with adults and couples over a wide range of issues in private practice and I have also worked within organisations providing specialised support for survivors of trauma and abuse and compassionate end-of-life care. My professional background extends to healthcare settings and human resource management within a large international corporation.
The experience of undergoing my own therapy and working therapeutically with people for many years, continues to validate the transformative power of inner work as a way to create a meaningful life.
Personal Statement
I am a warm, engaging therapist who works in a collaborative and straightforward manner. I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
My goal is to help people develop a wider range of emotional experiences and find relief from symptoms, conflicts and difficulties, including anxiety, panic, depression, relationships, grief, loss, trauma and PTSD. I also help people heal relationship problems such as infidelity, conflict and anger.
I believe in an integrative approach tailored to your needs and preferences, that include depth psychotherapeutic approaches from psychodynamic, object relations, somatic, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, humanistic to existential therapy.
My therapeutic approach is adaptable and tailored to your needs, offering both brief solution-focused therapy and longer-term in-depth psychotherapy.
